Overview

• Renfe has activated a replacement plan with 55 buses providing 41,000 daily seats to cover the suspended stretch.
• R2 Sud and R2 services, plus Regionals R14, R15, R16 and R17, are affected, with regional trains turning back at Cunit and bus links to Zona Universitària running every 30 minutes.
• The cut runs through Sunday 28, with non-revenue test trains that day to validate the works before full service resumes on Monday 29.
• Renfe has added 40 information assistants and reinforced signage and public address systems, with stop relocations in Sitges and Castelldefels Platja clearly indicated.
• Adif also warns of a separate Garraf tunnel maintenance phase projected for late 2025 to early 2026, expected to last at least three months.
