Overview
- Renfe has activated a replacement plan with 55 buses providing 41,000 daily seats to cover the suspended stretch.
- R2 Sud and R2 services, plus Regionals R14, R15, R16 and R17, are affected, with regional trains turning back at Cunit and bus links to Zona Universitària running every 30 minutes.
- The cut runs through Sunday 28, with non-revenue test trains that day to validate the works before full service resumes on Monday 29.
- Renfe has added 40 information assistants and reinforced signage and public address systems, with stop relocations in Sitges and Castelldefels Platja clearly indicated.
