Overview

• Western Railway will impose a 36-hour block on its 5th line and yard lines from 1 PM on May 31 to 1 AM on June 2 to dismantle the elevated booking office at Kandivali Yard.
• Over 160 suburban services will be cancelled—about 73 on Saturday and 89 on Sunday—with all local and mail/express trains rerouted to the Fast Line.
• Four long-distance expresses, including the Ahmedabad–Borivali and Borivali–Nandurbar services, will be short-terminated or short-originated at Vasai Road or Bhayandar.
• Central Railway will operate a mega block on June 1, suspending or diverting Harbour and Main Line suburban services between CSMT, Vidyavihar, Bandra, Panvel and other key stations.
• Passengers are urged to plan alternative travel, check updated schedules with station masters or official railway portals, and allow extra time during the upgrade.
