Weekend Closures Announced for A40 in Dortmund and Moers

Sections of the A40 will be closed for maintenance and expansion work, with detours in place to manage traffic disruptions.

The A40 in Dortmund will be closed in the direction of Kassel from Saturday, February 1, at 7:00 AM to Sunday, February 2, at 8:00 PM for six-lane expansion work.
Traffic in Dortmund will be rerouted via the B236 and the A2 and A1 highways, with detours marked by red-point signage.
The closure in Dortmund impacts the section between Dortmund-Ost (B236) and the Dortmund-Unna interchange, affecting access to Dortmund Airport.
In Moers, the A40 westbound on-ramp at Moers-West will be closed on February 8 and 9 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for vegetation maintenance.
