• Partial lane closures began Friday at 8 p.m. with a full shutdown at 10 p.m. and northbound traffic barred until 5 a.m. Monday.

• Detours guide drivers off I-680 onto Mission Boulevard/SR 238 and Niles Canyon Road/SR 84 while Caltrans recommends I-880 and I-580 to avoid bottlenecks.
• Saturday’s 11-mile detour caused bumper-to-bumper delays of over two hours and prompted drivers to cut through local streets.
