'Wednesday' Star Emma Myers Joins 'Minecraft' Movie Cast

The much-anticipated adaptation of the world's best-selling video game is set to begin filming by the end of the month.

Emma Myers, known for her role in Netflix's 'Wednesday', has been cast in the upcoming 'Minecraft' movie adaptation.
The 'Minecraft' movie has been in development since 2014, with numerous directors and writers having been involved before leaving the project.
Other confirmed cast members for the 'Minecraft' movie include Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.
The movie is set to be directed by Jared Hess and written by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer, as well as Markus Persson.
Filming for the 'Minecraft' movie is expected to start by the end of December.
