• Bleeds is set for release on September 19 via Dead Oceans as the follow-up to the band’s acclaimed 2023 album, Rat Saw God.
• The group debuted “Wound Up Here (By Holdin On)” alongside a Joriel Cura–directed music video.
• Lead singer Karly Hartzman said the song was inspired by a friend’s account of pulling a body from a West Virginia creek and borrows a line from Evan Gray’s poetry.
• The 12-track LP was recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville with producer Alex Farrar, who also worked on their previous records.
• Wednesday will launch a North American tour October 9 in Santa Fe through November 21 in Washington D.C., with Jake ‘MJ’ Lenderman opting out of the live dates.
