- AEMET forecasts clear, dry weather across Galicia on July 31 and has activated a yellow-level warning for heavy rain and storms in Murcia’s Noroeste on August 1.
- Argentina’s SMN predicts rainfall and above-seasonal temperatures for the final winter-break day in the AMBA region, followed by partly cloudy skies with possible late-day storms in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
- The SMN has issued a yellow alert for strong westerly winds of 50–75 km/h with gusts over 100 km/h in the Cordillera zones of Jujuy Province.
- In Mexico, tropical waves 17 and 18 interacting with the monsoon are expected to bring heavy to very heavy rains (50–75 mm), thunderstorms and possible hail to central-southern states including Michoacán, Estado de México, CDMX, Morelos, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Veracruz.
- Extreme-heat alerts persist in northwestern Mexico with temperatures above 45 °C in Baja California and Sonora and 40–45 °C in Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
