Overview
- WBSSC has uploaded the names and roll numbers of roughly 20,500 interview-eligible candidates for Classes 11–12 on its website and helpline portal.
- Document verification for shortlisted candidates begins November 18 before interviews proceed.
- Shortlisting is based on written test scores (60 marks), teaching experience (10) and eligibility (10), with interviews scheduled at a 1:1.6 ratio.
- The September SLST, held after nine years across 478 centres for 35 subjects, is recruiting for 35,726 posts statewide across Classes 9–12.
- Education Minister Bratya Basu says the drive will conclude by December, with the interview list for Classes 9–10 to be released later.
