Overview

  • WBCHSE has scheduled the first Semester III exams for Class 12 from September 8 to 22 under the newly implemented four-semester system.
  • Exams will use an entirely MCQ format on OMR sheets with five distinct paper sets per subject distributed in an S-shaped seating pattern to curb malpractice.
  • School heads can download and print admit cards online through the council’s portal instead of relying on physical issuance.
  • The Day-Wise Absentee cum Attendance Records (DWAAR) system will record daily attendance and absentee reasons in real time across all centers.
  • Question papers and OMR sheets will be stored in waterproof packaging and backed by district-level venue-shift plans to counter monsoon challenges.
