- WBBSE issued the official Madhyamik 2027 timetable on Monday, July 13, 2026, confirming written exams will run from February 15 to February 25, 2027.
- The schedule allocates one subject per day and lists the order of papers, starting with First Language and ending with Optional Elective subjects on February 25.
- Most papers will run from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm with the first 15 minutes reserved for reading the question paper to give every student time to review instructions.
- Several elective and vocational papers have different timings and arrangements, including Sewing and Needle Craft to 3:00 pm, music to 1:00 pm, a 2 hour 45 minute Computer Applications paper with school-run practicals, and vocational papers set at 1 hour 45 minutes.
- The board has said practical dates for Physical Education, Social Service and Work Education will be announced separately and it reserves the right to modify the timetable, a provision that matters because last year’s schedule was moved earlier for state Assembly elections and affected exam administration and results timing.
