Waze introduces a suite of new features aimed at making driving safer and more informed, including advanced guidance for navigating roundabouts and real-time alerts for speed limit changes.
The updates, rolling out globally throughout 2024, also include detailed parking information in collaboration with Flash, covering over 30,000 parking garages in the U.S. and Canada.
Emergency vehicle alerts are now available to improve safety for both drivers and first responders, with the feature currently accessible in select countries.
Local navigation alerts will warn drivers about hazards such as sharp curves, speed bumps, and toll booths, thanks to insights from the Waze community.
Waze's new features are designed to help drivers navigate like locals, with real-time traffic updates and the ability to compare preferred routes with alternatives.
