Overview
- Waymo has added new service areas across Los Angeles County, including Playa del Rey, Echo Park, Silver Lake and Sunset Boulevard, and extended coverage on the San Francisco Peninsula into Brisbane, South San Francisco, Millbrae and Burlingame.
- The company has applied for a permit from the New York City Department of Transportation to operate its autonomous vehicles with safety specialists behind the wheel in Manhattan next month.
