• Way Out West’s Kidney Pass lets fans who are 18 or older with a Swedish social security number enter a lottery for a free three-day pass by joining the national organ donation registry.
• The festival launched the program to counter a more than 30% decline in Swedish donor registrations by tapping into high ticket demand.
• Registration through Socialstyrelsen carries no legal obligation and allows participants to set donation preferences or withdraw consent at any time.
• Winners receive commemorative wristbands reading “I gave up a kidney for this ticket” along with access to the sold-out August 7–9 event in Slottsskogen, Gothenburg.
