Washington's Germie Bernard Commits to Alabama

Transfer marks third Washington player to join Crimson Tide under new coach Kalen DeBoer

Washington wide receiver Germie Bernard has committed to transfer to Alabama, joining former Husky quarterback Austin Mack and center Parker Brailsford.
Bernard recorded 34 catches for 419 yards and two touchdowns last season, and also rushed for two touchdowns and 276 in return yardage.
This will be Bernard's third team in three seasons, having previously played for Michigan State before transferring to Washington.
Bernard's transfer is a significant development for Alabama, which has seen several departures from its receiver room since the end of the 2023 season.
Alabama's new head coach Kalen DeBoer, formerly of Washington, has now secured commitments from three Washington players.
