Washington WR Germie Bernard Enters Transfer Portal

Move Follows Departure of Head Coach Kalen DeBoer and Other Key Players

Washington wide receiver Germie Bernard is entering the NCAA transfer portal, following the departure of head coach Kalen DeBoer to Alabama.
Bernard had 34 receptions for 419 yards and two touchdowns for the Huskies this season, his first in Washington after spending the 2022 season at Michigan State.
Bernard's decision comes after quarterback Will Rogers re-entered the transfer portal after a brief stint with the Huskies.
Washington also will be without wide receivers Ja'Lynn Polk and Rome Odunze and running back Dillon Johnson, who all declared for the NFL Draft.
Former Arizona coach Jedd Fisch has been hired to replace DeBoer as the Huskies' head coach.
