Washington OC Ryan Grubb to Depart, Likely Joining Alabama

Move follows former Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer to Alabama, leaving Washington in search of new leadership.

Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb announced he will not return next season, likely joining former Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer at Alabama.
Grubb oversaw a Huskies offense that averaged 349.4 passing yards, 118.4 rushing yards, 462.1 total yards and 36 points per game, contributing to Washington's 14-1 season and Pac-12 title win.
Under Grubb's guidance, QB Michael Penix Jr. became a finalist for the 2023 Heisman Trophy.
Grubb has been a mainstay on DeBoer's coaching staff, serving as Washington's assistant head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the last two seasons.
Washington is now in search of a new head coach and offensive coordinator as it prepares to enter the Big Ten.
