Washington Man Confesses to Murder of Missing Montana Woman

Chris Foiles, a 42-year-old man from Spokane, Washington, confessed to the murder of his estranged girlfriend, Megan Stedman, whose body was found in her motorhome in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Stedman, a 34-year-old mother of two, had been missing since December 15, 2023, under suspicious circumstances.
Foiles admitted to stabbing Stedman multiple times following an argument, fearing she would go to the police due to a 'no contact order' between them.
Idaho Falls police discovered the motorhome, which matched the description of Stedman's, and Foiles was arrested on January 12, 2024.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to cover funeral expenses and support Stedman's children.
