Overview

• Dunn confronted federal agents on U Street NW, shouting “F--- you, fascists!” before throwing a sub-style sandwich that struck CBP Agent Gregory Lairmore, as video captured.
• After briefly fleeing, Dunn was arrested by Metro Transit Police and later confessed at the station, saying “I did it. I threw the sandwich.”
• Federal prosecutors charged him with assaulting, resisting or impeding U.S. officers, a felony punishable by up to one year in prison and fines.
