Warriors Acquire Buddy Hield in Sign-and-Trade with 76ers

Hield joins Golden State on a two-year, $21 million deal, filling the void left by Klay Thompson's departure.

Golden State sends a 2031 second-round pick to Philadelphia as part of the deal.
Hield averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 84 games last season.
He is expected to complement Stephen Curry as a top perimeter shooter.
The Warriors also added Kyle Anderson and De'Anthony Melton to bolster their roster.
Hield chose the Warriors over offers from the Lakers and Pistons.
