Overview
- The collision occurred around 11:45 p.m. Saturday near northbound Mound Road and Sterling Drive South.
- Police say the woman was driving a dark-colored Chevrolet Malibu northbound when it struck the rear of a semi-truck tractor stopped at a red light.
- First responders provided life-saving aid at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead.
- She was the only person in the Malibu, and the semi-truck driver was not injured.
