Warner Bros. to License Select HBO Original Series to Netflix

Warner Bros. Discovery is in negotiations to license some of its HBO original series, including Insecure, to Netflix.
The deal would mark the first time HBO has licensed its shows to a rival streaming service in the US.
The move is aimed at cutting costs for Warner Bros. Discovery and exposing HBO's content to new audiences.
HBO executives initially opposed the deal, but Warner Bros. Discovery executives pushed for it.
The agreement would be non-exclusive, allowing the shows to remain on HBO Max as well.
