Warner Bros. Moves ‘The Cat in the Hat’ to Nov. 6, 2026

The studio is steering the Dr. Seuss adaptation into the pre-holiday corridor to launch its relaunched animation label.

Industry reporting says the change is a release-window play for global reach rather than a production delay, with the movie said to be ready for February.
The title will debut the reconstituted Warner Bros. Pictures Animation under Bill Damaschke.
Bill Hader leads the voice cast as the Cat, joined by Quinta Brunson, Bowen Yang, Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry and Paula Pell.
Alessandro Carloni and Erica Rivinoja write and direct, Daniela Mazzucato and Jared Stern produce, Susan Brandt and Hader serve as executive producers, and DNEG Animation is the partner studio.
