Overview
- Warner Bros. pushed the animated Dynamic Duo from June 30, 2028 to September 22, 2028 and moved the new Gremlins from November 19, 2027 to October 6, 2028.
- Studio distribution told reporters the Dynamic Duo date was chosen to target a back-to-school audience and to avoid going head-to-head with Paramount’s Call of Duty on the original June weekend.
- Multiple outlets report the principal voice cast for Dynamic Duo includes Mason Thames as Dick Grayson, Logan Kim as Jason Todd, Lee Pace as Red Hood One and Steve Buscemi as Red Hood Two.
- Dynamic Duo is being made by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation with DC Studios, Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho and new New Orleans studio Swaybox, directed by Arthur Mintz from a Matthew Aldrich script using a hybrid puppetry/CGI model-based technique.
- The Gremlins project has a new draft by Hannah Marks with Chris Columbus attached to earlier drafts and Amblin and Steven Spielberg producing, and the schedule shifts could affect marketing, franchise timing and Warner’s wider fall slate.
