Warner Bros. Discovery Reorganizes Following Pam Lifford's Departure from Global Brands, Franchises and Experiences Division

Leadership shakeup includes promotion of Robert Oberschelp as Head of Global Consumer Products and recruitment of a new Global Head of Franchise; Pam Lifford leaves to focus on family healthcare, while Julian Moon announces 2024 retirement.

  • Pam Lifford, the president of Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Brands, Franchises and Experiences division, has stepped down from her role to address a family member's healthcare needs.
  • Robert Oberschelp will assume the position of Head of Global Consumer Products, reporting to Bruce Campbell, Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). Preston Kevin Lewis will expand his duties to include responsibility for North America Consumer Products, reporting to Oberschelp.
  • Long-time executive Julian Moon, Head of Consumer Products for EMEA and Asia Pacific, has announced plans to retire in 2024 after a 33-year tenure with the company. Until then, he will report to Oberschelp and contribute to succession planning.
  • Bruce Campbell will recruit a new leader for the role of Global Head of Franchise. This individual will work closely with Campbell and senior creative leadership to manage and develop the company's global intellectual property.
  • Peter van Roden will persevere in his role as Head of Global Themed Entertainment, overseeing the licensed location-based entertainment, theme parks, and experienced-based businesses.
