Warner Bros Discovery Executive David Leavy Named COO of CNN

David Leavy, currently Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Warner Bros Discovery, will become Chief Operating Officer of CNN.
Leavy is a 23-year veteran of Discovery Inc. and one of CEO David Zaslav’s top deputies.
In his new role, Leavy will oversee commercial, operational, and promotional activities across CNN Worldwide.
Leavy will continue to oversee public policy and social responsibility for Warner Bros Discovery in addition to his COO duties at CNN.
Leavy’s appointment demonstrates CNN’s importance to Warner Bros Discovery’s portfolio.
