Space Marine 3 was announced on March 13, 2025, marking the official start of development for the third installment in the Warhammer 40,000 series.
The game will feature a new immersive campaign, multiplayer modes, and promises innovations to enhance third-person action gameplay.
Developers Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment emphasized that Space Marine 2 will continue to receive updates, including new missions, upgrades, and a Horde mode, over the coming years.
The announcement comes just six months after the release of Space Marine 2, which has sold over 5 million copies and received strong critical and commercial acclaim.
No release date or timeframe has been provided for Space Marine 3, but estimates suggest a multi-year development cycle before launch.
