Wanted Gangster Arrested During Screening of 'Pushpa 2' in Nagpur

Police apprehended Vishal Meshram, a fugitive with 27 criminal cases, during a late-night movie screening after tracking him for 10 months.

Vishal Meshram, a notorious gangster wanted for murder and drug trafficking, was arrested inside a Nagpur cinema hall during a screening of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.
The arrest was part of a meticulously planned operation after police tracked Meshram's movements using cyber surveillance and his interest in the film.
Authorities deflated the tyres of Meshram's SUV outside the multiplex to prevent his escape before entering the hall during the movie's climax.
Meshram, who had been evading capture for 10 months, was apprehended without resistance as he was engrossed in the film.
The gangster, known for his violent history, is now in Nagpur Central Jail and will soon be transferred to a Nashik prison.
