Wanamaker Light Show and Dickens Village Return Nov. 28 as 2025 Schedule Is Set

Community donations, alongside new sponsors, revived the Philadelphia holiday traditions for 2025.

Overview

  • Officials released detailed hours: six shows daily Wednesday–Sunday from Nov. 28–Dec. 11, then seven shows daily Dec. 12–23, with a shortened schedule on Dec. 24.
  • Dickens Village opens Black Friday with free, timed-entry tickets; it operates five days weekly at first, then moves to daily hours, with final entry 30 minutes before closing.
  • The Wanamaker Organ will accompany most performances with live finales and twice-daily concerts led by Grand Court Organist Peter Richard Conte and assistant organists.
  • The 2025 season adds an indoor holiday market and a new pop-up eatery, Holly and Humbug, serving craft beer, seasonal cocktails, and warm winter fare.
  • More than 1,000 donors and sponsors including PECO (presenting) and PowerPay underwrote roughly $600,000 in installation costs, as renovations starting in February are expected to sideline or relocate the attractions during the 2026–27 seasons.
