Walter Hill Awarded WGA's 2024 Laurel Award for Screenwriting

The award recognizes members who have advanced the literature of motion pictures and made outstanding contributions to the profession of the screenwriter.
Hill's career spans nearly five decades, with notable works including 'The Getaway,' 'The Warriors,' '48 Hrs.,' and the 'Alien' series.
Hill has also received two DGA Awards and the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award at the Venice Film Festival.
The 76th Writers Guild Awards ceremony, where Hill will be presented with the award, is scheduled for April 14 in Los Angeles.
