Walmart has agreed to a $45 million settlement over allegations of overcharging customers for weighted goods and bagged citrus.
Customers who purchased eligible items between October 19, 2018, and January 19, 2024, can claim up to $500 with proof of purchase.
Claims without receipts are eligible for payments ranging from $10 to $25, based on the amount of goods purchased.
The deadline to submit a claim is June 5, 2024, with the final approval hearing scheduled for June 12.
Walmart denies any wrongdoing but states the settlement is in the best interest of both parties.
