Walmart Expands Drone Delivery to 1.8 Million Households in Dallas-Fort Worth

Walmart is expanding its drone delivery service to cover 75% of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, reaching 1.8 million households.
The service, in partnership with drone companies Wing and Zipline, will deliver items within a 30-minute window.
Of the 120,000 items in a Walmart Supercenter, 75% meet the size and weight requirements for drone delivery.
This marks the first time a U.S. retailer has offered drone delivery to this many households.
Walmart has already completed more than 20,000 drone deliveries.
