Walmart de México y Centroamérica Confirms Cristian Barrientos as President and CEO

The company says his long regional experience positions Walmex to advance its omnichannel strategy.

  • In Mexico he oversaw Bodega Aurrera’s growth, including more than 600 store openings, later leading Walmart Centroamérica in 2018, returning as COO in 2020 to drive digital and e-commerce, and serving as CEO of Walmart Chile in 2023.
