• On July 24 the Journal published Bill Clinton’s handwritten birthday message to Jeffrey Epstein in a 50th birthday golden book curated by Ghislaine Maxwell.
• Clinton’s note, placed in the “Friends” section under Maxwell’s handwritten preface, praised Epstein’s enduring curiosity and camaraderie.
• Clinton’s office reiterated that he cut ties with Epstein over a decade before the financier’s 2019 arrest and insisted he knew nothing of Epstein’s criminal conduct.
