  • Perry, now known as Nkosi Shaka Zulu El, was convicted in 1994 of multiple murders and is serving five life sentences at ADX Florence.
  • Producers say the drama will weave in the era’s D.C. context, including soaring homicides, political scandal and the go-go music scene.
