Wahl-O-Mat for 2025 German Federal Election Goes Live Today

The online tool, designed to help voters align their views with political parties, launches at 11:30 AM ahead of the February 23 election.

Germany's Federal Election has been moved up to February 23, 2025, following the collapse of the coalition government led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The Wahl-O-Mat, an online decision-making tool for voters, is now available to help users identify which party aligns with their political preferences.
The tool presents 38 political statements for users to agree, disagree, or remain neutral on, and matches their responses to party positions.
All parties registered for the election are included in the Wahl-O-Mat, offering a comprehensive comparison for voters.
Developed by the Federal Agency for Civic Education, the Wahl-O-Mat has been a key resource since 2002, with over 130 million uses to date.
