- Volkswagen’s core brand delivered 4.73 million vehicles in 2025, down 1.4% year over year, with global BEV deliveries essentially flat at about 382,000 as Europe grew and China and North America declined.
- Audi ended 2025 with a late-year uptick but finished down 2.9% at 1.62 million vehicles, citing tariff pressures in the U.S., while its global BEV sales rose 36% to more than 223,000.
- Germany logged a record 545,142 BEV registrations in 2025, up 43.2% for a 19.1% market share, with Dataforce attributing much of the volume to fleets (~207,000 BEVs) and increased manufacturer self-registrations (~64,000, +68% YoY).
- U.S. BEV sales totaled 1,275,714 in 2025, slightly below 2024, with a sharp fourth-quarter drop to 234,171 after a pre-expiry surge before the September tax-credit cutoff.
