Volvo Unveils ES90 EV with Advanced 800V Architecture and 435-Mile Range

The ES90 combines sedan elegance, SUV practicality, and fastback versatility, featuring rapid charging, cutting-edge tech, and sustainable materials.

The Volvo ES90 is built on the SPA2 platform with an 800V electrical system, enabling 10 to 80% charging in 20 minutes at 350kW and adding 186 miles in just 10 minutes.
Offering a WLTP range of up to 435 miles (estimated 350+ miles EPA), the ES90 is Volvo's most aerodynamic model to date, with a drag coefficient of 0.25.
Three powertrain options are available: single motor rear-wheel drive, twin motor all-wheel drive, and twin motor performance, with 0-60 mph times ranging from 6.7 to 3.9 seconds.
Equipped with dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin processors, the ES90 delivers Volvo's most advanced computing capacity, supporting safety systems with lidar, cameras, radars, and over-the-air updates.
Sustainability features include recycled materials in construction, hardware for bi-directional charging, and a Scandinavian-inspired interior with premium sound and a panoramic roof.
