Overview
- Volotea will operate twice-weekly flights between Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén and Seve Ballesteros-Santander airports starting December 5, 2025.
- Scheduled services will run every Tuesday and Friday, with a holiday timetable shifting departures to Tuesdays and Saturdays over Christmas.
- The permanent connection replaces the previous seasonal link and aims to strengthen north–south domestic air travel within Spain.
- Since initiating continuous operations at Granada in 2020, Volotea has transported over 80,000 passengers from the airport.
- By mid-2025 the carrier has carried 75 million passengers across more than 420 routes, and Andalusia welcomed nearly 6.8 million visitors in 2024, underlining the route’s regional economic importance.
