Volkswagen Unveils Plans for €20,000 ID. EVERY1 Electric Hatchback

Set to debut in Europe in 2027, the compact EV aims to deliver affordability and innovative features in a competitive market.

Volkswagen's ID. EVERY1 is a concept for an all-electric hatchback with a targeted starting price of €20,000 (approximately $20,800 USD).
The vehicle will be part of VW's 'Electric Urban Car Family,' built on the second-generation MEB platform with front-wheel drive and a range of around 155 miles.
Production is slated to begin in 2027, with availability currently confirmed only for the European market.
The ID. EVERY1 will feature a minimalist design, modular interior elements, and a new software architecture enabling over-the-air updates.
Volkswagen is positioning the ID. EVERY1 as a key competitor in the growing affordable EV market, facing challenges from Chinese automakers and other global brands.
