Volkswagen Sets October Prices for Tera, Its Entry-Level SUV in Argentina

The range adopts standard core safety, reserving advanced driver assists for upper trims.

  • Volkswagen published October retail prices for the Tera: Trend MSI MT ARS 32,323,650; Comfort 170TSI AT ARS 36,553,050; High 170TSI AT ARS 40,114,650; Outfit 170TSI AT ARS 41,116,350.
  • Built in Taubaté, Brazil, the subcompact SUV is offered in four trims that escalate in equipment and powertrain.
  • The Trend uses a 1.6 MSI four-cylinder with 110 CV and a five-speed manual, while higher trims fit a 1.0 TSI turbo with 101 CV and 170 Nm paired to a six-speed automatic.
  • Six airbags and electronic stability control are standard across all versions, and the Outfit adds features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, driver fatigue warning and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
  • Since its August 12 launch in Argentina, the model has recorded 1,210 registrations, including 1,025 units in September.
