Overview
- Volkswagen has launched preorders in Spain for the ID. Cross with a promotional starting price of €25,600 for the Life trim, a figure that requires Volkswagen financing and includes commercial campaigns.
- The ID. Cross is a 4.15 m, five-seat compact SUV built on the evolved MEB+ platform and made in Navarra rather than Martorell.
- Initial sales offer Life and Style trims fitted with a 155 kW (211 CV) motor and a 52 kWh battery, while a lower-power Match (116 CV, 37 kWh) and a mid 135 CV (99 kW) variant are confirmed for later rollout.
- Volkswagen publishes a maximum WLTP range of 426 km for the model and charging figures of up to 105 kW DC for the 52 kWh battery (about 10–80% in ~24 minutes), up to 90 kW DC for the 37 kWh pack, 11 kW AC charging, Vehicle-to-Load up to 3.6 kW, and 1,200 kg towing capacity with the 52 kWh pack.
- Standard and optional equipment spans 19–20 inch wheels, matrix IQ.Light, Harman Kardon audio, adaptive DCC suspension for the 155 kW version, and driver aids such as Connected Travel Assist, Area View and Park Assist Pro, reflecting Volkswagen’s push to offer compact EVs with features once reserved for larger models.
