Volkswagen Integrates AirConsole for In-Car Gaming

New partnership brings multiplayer games to several VW models, enhancing in-car entertainment while parked.

AirConsole gaming platform will be available in VW's ID.7, Passat, Tiguan, Golf, and other models.
Players use their smartphones as controllers by scanning a QR code on the car's display.
The feature will first launch in Europe by mid-September, with further expansion planned.
Gameplay is only enabled when the vehicle is parked, ideal for charging or breaks.
AirConsole already has similar collaborations with BMW, and Tesla offers its own gaming options.
