Overview

  • VodafoneThree has committed £1.3 billion in its first year of a £11 billion 5G rollout aiming to deliver 99.95% population coverage by 2034.
  • Within two weeks, seven million Three and Smarty customers will see up to a 20% uplift in 4G data speeds.
  • All 27 million Vodafone and Three subscribers will gain shared access to both networks at no extra cost within months.
  • The network plans to remove 16,500 sq km of coverage dead zones by the end of the year and to trial space-based satellite services by mid-2026.
  • VodafoneThree will open new customer care centres in Belfast and Sheffield, creating 400 UK jobs and introducing a “Just Ask Once” contract cancellation policy.
