- Vi activated 5G services in nine additional cities—Malappuram, Kozhikode, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara and soon Meerut—raising its total live network to 18 cities.

- Vi has committed to rolling out 5G in 23 more cities by the end of 2025 as it intensifies efforts to narrow the gap with Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
