Overview

  • The X Fold5 will be unveiled in China on June 25 at 7 pm local time, with pre-orders already live on vivo’s official channels.
  • It becomes the first Android smartphone to support native Apple Watch notifications, iCloud file access and MacBook display extension.
  • Both main and cover screens employ 8T LTPO AMOLED panels with 4,500 nits peak brightness, high-frequency PWM dimming and Zeiss Master colour certification.
  • Power comes from a 6,000 mAh semi-solid-state battery that supports 90 W wired and 30 W wireless charging and operates down to –30 °C.
  • The device is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, meets IP5X dust and IPX9+ water-resistance ratings, and houses a triple 50 MP Zeiss camera system plus dual 32 MP front sensors.
