Vivo Sets Oct. 13 China Launch for X300 Flagships, Teases Zeiss Teleconverter and Dimensity 9500 Debut

Overview

  • Vivo confirmed a China event on October 13 at 7 p.m. local time to unveil the X300 and X300 Pro alongside the Watch GT 2, TWS 5, and Pad5e.
  • Both models will be the first phones powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 and will ship with Android 16–based OriginOS 6, which is set to be introduced on October 10.
  • Official images reveal flatter frames, a relocated flash, the X300 in light blue, light pink, black, and silver, and the X300 Pro in dark gray and beige.
  • Zeiss’s 2.35x teleconverter is officially supported on both phones with sample reach to 200mm, 400mm, and 800mm and reported CIPA stabilization ratings of 4.5 for the X300 and 5.5 for the Pro.
  • A Weibo video from a Vivo product manager highlights an X300 Pro Satellite Edition featuring 16GB RAM, 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, a 6,510 mAh battery, and VS1 and V3+ imaging chips.
