Vivo Launches X300 and X300 Pro in China With 200MP Cameras, Dimensity 9500 and Confirmed Pricing

OriginOS 6 is set to replace Funtouch on global models, marking a wider software shift.

Overview

  • Both phones are on sale in China now, with the X300 starting at ¥4,399 and the X300 Pro at ¥5,299 across multiple RAM and storage tiers up to 16GB/1TB.
  • The X300 Pro pairs a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with a 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto, while the X300 uses the 200MP HPB as its main camera alongside a 50MP LYT-602 telephoto.
  • All rear cameras support up to 4K/120fps 10-bit Log video, ZEISS tuning continues, and both models work with Vivo’s attachable 2.35x telephoto extender sold separately at ¥1,299 or ¥1,499 with the Photography Kit.
  • MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 powers both devices with Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and global launch timing and configurations remain unannounced with the company indicating no immediate India release.
  • The X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch display and an Action Button, the X300 is a compact 6.31-inch model, and both include ultrasonic fingerprint readers, IP68/IP69 ratings, and 6,510mAh or 6,040mAh batteries with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
