• Service begins November 20, 2025, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using 186-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, and tickets went on sale August 20.
• Published schedules list AUS departures at 12:35 p.m. arriving NLU at 2:55 p.m., with returns leaving NLU at 9:15 a.m. and arriving AUS at 11:25 a.m.
• Viva frames the route as part of a coordinated network that pairs with its existing Austin–Monterrey operation to provide consistent options across the week.
• Felipe Ángeles International Airport is promoted as an alternative gateway to Mexico City with onward connections across Mexico and a rail link to downtown slated to open in December 2025.
• Aeromexico continues to serve Austin–Mexico City via Benito Juárez (MEX), so Viva’s move adds airport choice and price competition on the corridor.
