Overview
- VIT’s engineering entrance exam is being held as a computer-based test from April 28 to May 3 for 2026–27 admissions.
- The test runs at 212 centres in 129 Indian cities with nine overseas sites in Singapore, Qatar, Muscat, Dubai, Kuwait, Al Manamah, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia, and Sharjah.
- Results are expected in the second week of May, with official updates posted on vit.ac.in.
- VIT leadership reviewed on-site arrangements at the Vellore campus to oversee the conduct of the exam.
- Candidates who secure ranks up to 1.5 lakh can join online counselling for VIT-AP planned for May to June.
