 - If you are in line by 7 p.m., you may still vote at your assigned polling place.
 - Voters must show an acceptable ID or sign an ID Confirmation Statement; provisional voters have until noon Friday to provide ID for their ballot to count.
 - Same-day registrants cast a provisional ballot that is verified after Election Day, and polling locations can be found through the Virginia Department of Elections.
 - Key matchups include Abigail Spanberger vs. Winsome Earle-Sears for governor, Ghazala Hashmi vs. John Reid for lieutenant governor, and Jay Jones vs. Jason Miyares for attorney general, with the AG race shaped by Jones’ 2022 texts and Miyares’ endorsement from President Donald Trump.
